Increase In Fine Particles Of Experimental Rat Spermatogenic Dysfunction

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: TO study the effect of Chinese Herbs composition (named by ZENGJING powder) on quality of semen, eqididymides coefficient, glycerol-phosphorylcholine(GPC), ialic acid (SA) of epididymal fluid and tissue form of epididymides. We also study the mechanism of producing and maturing of epididyml spermatozoa intervened by ZEiVGJING powder. METHODS: The study adopts a model of sperm producing dysfunction of SD rats through putting GTW into rat's stomach. RESULTS: Contrary to the control group, ZE/VGJJNG powder is able to decrease GPC volume in membrane of spermatozoa, increase SA volume of epididyinal fluid, enhance the density and survivor rate of spermatozoa, lower the deformity rate, augment the eqididyinides coefficient, increase the thickness of epididymal canal wall. All above show that ZENGJING powder can improve the quality of spermatczoa, increase the epididymal weight and thickness of gland wall, enhance secretion function of epididymal epithelium, at last, improve epididymal function. CONCLUSIONS: The Chinese Herbs composition, ZENGJIIVG powder, can improve the spermatozoa mature function of epididymides: increase the spermatozoa quality of model rats of spermatozoa producing dysfunction. The powder can also prevent and treat the abnormality of semen due to insufficient maturing spermatozoa amount.
