Objective: To detect the abnormal expression of p53 protein.. bcl? oncogene and proliferating cell nuclear antigene(PCNA) in cardiac cancer tissues in different ethnic patients, may involve the molecular biology of cardiac earcinogenesis. Methods: The over expression of p53.. bcl?and PCNA on paraffin embedded tumor tissues in 90 differeni ethnic patients with cardinal AdenocarcinomaG]azak29, Uygur30, Han3l)were examined by immunohistochemistry (LSAB). Results: The positive frequency of p53.. bcl? and PCNA incardial cancer was 75. 56%(69/90), 87. 78%(79/90), 97. 78%(88/90) respectively. And the expression of those in nonæ¢'ancer was 4.76%(1/21), 52.38%(l1/21),0%(0/21). There were statistic significance between C) cancer and nonæ¢'ancer (p(0. 05). However, flQ difference of the expression of p53.. bcl?.. PCNA among different ethnic as well as varing degrees of differentiation was found. (p>O. 05). No significant correlationship was found between bcl? and PCNA, between hcl? and p53. (p>O.O5). Conclusion The abnormal expression of mutant p53.. bcl? and PCNA may be an important etiopathogenesis factor for cardial carcinogenesis. No statistic difference on the expression of p53.. hcl? and PCNA among different ethnic was found as well as varing degrees of differentiation.
