| Experimental Study On Fracture Treatment by GuYuNing Experiment adopted 52 pure species New-Zealand Rabbits. They were randomly divided into control group, GuYuNing group and GuZhecCuoShangPian group. Imposed a 3mm bone deficiency of standard fracture model at the lower 113 part of both radial bine with bone grip forceps under operation eye-veiw. No external fixation after operation. GuYuNing group and GuZhecCuoShangPian group were given GuYuNing and GuZhecCuoShangPian respectively, control group enjoyed no treatment. They were executed by extracting blood from heart on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day after operation. Observation Indicator and results: 1) Histological observation: local bone scar adopted H.E dye. Results showed that GuYuNing and GuZheCuoShangPian could accelerate the organization and reabsorption of blood swollen at fracture end, cause bone formation cell to multiply. 2) Blood hemorheology showed whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, blood cell press volume in treatment group were lower than control at every time point. 3) Biochemistry showed that serum Ca2+,PO43- maintained the same level which showed the tendency of rising gradually in the bone scar and the treatment group were higher than control at every time point. 4) Seum hormone showed BGP, TSH, insulin were higher in some weeks. 5) Trace element showed serum and bone scar Zn, Cu, Mn, and Fe increased but showed no significant with control group. Results indicated that GuYuNing can facilitate fracture healing and the mechanism is: 1) GuYuNing improves local blood hemorheology status and accelerate capillary to grow. 2) GuYuNing takes effect through body fluid system. 3) GuYuNing can stimulate bone cell formation and activity. 4) GuYuNing can cause bone salt to precipitate. 5) GuYuNing can speed up bone reconstruction process. 6) GuYuNing can promote trace element reabsorption. |
