Then The Experiments Of The Straightforward Treatment Of Idiopathic Constipation

AIM: To evaluae the effect of Bian Shuang Kuai (BSK, a kind of Chinese herbmedicine) to treat idiopathec conStipation (IC) and to study the mechanism of theeffect. METHODS: The three kinds of experiments including the movement ofcarbon powder in mice small intestines and the appeared time of colored stool andcarbon powder wer studied by using two kinds of Ance, the normal and model. Andthe movement of isolated rabbit small intestines was studied by using the differentconcentrations of BSK in the same time. RESULTS: Compared with the control, theBSK can increase the movement of mice small intestines and the amplitude ofvibrations in isolated rabbit small intestines. CONCLUSION: BSK can be used totreat IC in effect by motivaing the movement of small intestine, increasing thefrequency of stool and mohvating the contrction of isolated intestine. Furthermore,he effects were related to the concentration of BSK .The mechanism is probably thatBSK has the effect on regulating the function of intestine through many ways.
