Huoxue Recipe Line Of Water Treatment Of Children With Primary Nephrotic Syndrome Of Experimental Research And Clinical Effect

Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is one of the most common diseases in children. It's pathologic factors are related to imbalance of cell immunologic function, dysfunction of coagulation, metabolic substances of kidney and so on. NS develops slowly and become renal failure at last if it is misdiagnosed or couldn't be treated in time. According to it's clinical manifestations, NS belongs to such diseases as "edema". "fluid-qi"in TCM. NS is always divided into some types: External affections, deficiency of spleen and kidney, internal stasis of dampness and beat etc. Pathologic "water"and "stagnation"are final result of all factors. It is a novel treatment that treat NS from "water"and "stagnation"directly. Activating water and blood circulation decoction, composing of fulin, zhelan, guizhi, ganchao, bai.maogen, baizhu, yimuchao, niuxi, has been used to treat NS in children in clinic. In order to prove the function of treatment, we have been carried out animal experiments. 3 In experiment , rat NS due to Adrimycin model was made firstly. Rats were divided into TCM decoction (Activating water and blood circulation) group, TCM decoction and prednisone group, prednisone group, model control group, and normal control group randomly, 15 rats in each group. After 8-week-treatment, curative effect of every group were compared. The result of experiment showed that TCM decoction could reduce urinary albumin and concentration level of urea nitrogen and creatinine in serum. Besides, the most important result was that it could improve and reduce ET in serum. After experiment, 30 children of NS were observed for 8 weeks, 16 with the treatment of TCM decoction and predisone, 14 with the prednisone. The results showed that the positive rate of decoction treatment is 93.25%, which is better than that of prednisone singly, and all changes just like experiment. These results indicates that the TCM decoction can 4 improve indexes of blood rheology, reduce serum ET lighten pathologic changes of kidney through activating water and blood circulation.
