Purpose:Using statistic analysis method to undergo the research about the syndrome elements abstraction and combination law of corresponding syndrome of angina pectoris in order to reveal the composition of the syndrome elements of angina pectoris and the mutual compatibleness, transformation, evolution law between the each types of syndromes provide quantification index and reference for making standards of syndrome differentiation of angina pectoris.Material and method: According to previous criteria, standards, experts'meeting formulates angina pectoris epidemiological questionnaires Based on the statistic analysis of literatures of core journal and quantitative study on the material of TCM internal medicine etc. Then using cross-section observation method to select national 11 hospitals, after explaining the purpose and contents of this study to patients and obtaining informed consent forms from them select cases strictly according to diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusive criteria, rejecting criteria and collect information about general information, history, related risk factors, physical examination, disease solar terms, cause of disease, TCM inspection, TCM auscultation and olfaction, TCM symptoms, physical sign, tongue image, pulse etc. of patients at the time of visiting hospital in one time; afterwards establish corresponding database. Then adopting structural equation model(SEM) analysis method undergo model identification and model fitting using the 5types of theoretical model of angina pectoris which were obtained by experts'meeting and the data information which was obtained by previous clinical epidemiology and then using fit indexes make evaluation to model (GFI,RMR). If the evaluation is excellent the model will be established then obtain the syndrome elements and the combinations of corresponding syndrome of angina pectoris according to the evaluation of Parameters. If the evaluation is not excellent enough in another words fitting degree is not good enough (according to fit index) will adopt the method of expert consultation to undergo model identification, model fitting, model estimation, model evaluation once again after model modification until the excellent model is established and obtain The syndrome elements and the combinations of corresponding syndrome of angina pectoris.Results:1 Obtained indexes about latent variables from Structure equation of angina pectoris preferably reflected the connotation of corresponding clinical symptom elements.2 Casual relation and mutual relation between latent variables of structure equation revealed the law of mutual compatibleness, transformation, evolution between the each type of syndrome elements of angina pectoris.3 There are symptom elements of disease nature such as qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency and combinations of corresponding syndrome such as heart-qi deficiency, spleen-qi deficiency, kidney-qi deficiency, heart-kidney qi deficiency, heart-yin deficiency, liver-yin deficiency, kidney-yin deficiency, heart-liver yin deficiency, heart-kidney yin deficiency, liver-kidney yin deficiency, heart-yang deficiency, spleen-yang deficiency, kidney-yang deficiency, heart- spleen yang deficiency, heart-kidney yang deficiency, yang-qi deficiency, qi-yin deficiency, yin-yang deficiency in the category of deficiency syndrome.4 There are symptom elements of disease nature such as turbid phlegm, qi stagnation, cold coagulation, blood stasis in the category of excess syndrome.5 There are combinations of corresponding syndrome such as turbid phlegm and blood stasis, stagnation of qi and blood, blood stasis due to cold, qi deficiency and blood stasis, yin deficiency with blood stasis, yang deficiency and blood stasis according to the casual relations between the partial latent variables and common latent variables. Conclusion:1 Basic pathogenesis of angina pectoris is deficiency incidental excess, which expressed deficiency syndrome elements such as qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency and excess syndrome elements such as turbid phlegm, qi stagnation, cold coagulation, blood stasis clinically. And all of them could appear together or by single.2 Symptom elements of disease nature such as qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency and symptom elements of location of disease heart, liver, spleen, kidney could compose combinations of corresponding syndrome in the category of deficiency syndrome. And the forms of combination are 1 symptom element of disease nature with 1 symptom element of location of disease, 1 symptom element of disease nature with 2 symptom elements of location of disease, 2 symptom elements of disease nature.3 There are casual relations between the symptom elements of disease nature such as turbid phlegm, qi stagnation, cold coagulation, qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency and blood stasis.4 Using structural equation model? analysis? method? to? research? on? the? syndrome elements and the combination of corresponding syndrome of angina pectoris have some feasibility.
