Based on consulting plenty of traditional medical literature and combining modern medical literature about the vascular,this paper has gathered the types of vascular-pathy in traditional Chinese medical physiological and pathologic characteristics and the other related illness. While integrating theories in traditional Chinese medical science and ideas in modern medicine, this paper has thoroughly studied the intension and extension of hemo-vascular-pathy.The paper in the discussion of the intension of hemo-vascular–pathy of the veins in the etiology, pathogenesis, disease location, symptoms, treatment and outcome of several aspects are discussed in detail, and the extension of the hemo-vascular–pathy of vascular disease in the attribution of Classification and the relationship between blood and the meridians are discussed.The concept of hemo-vascular–pathy, is Professor Yang Guanlin based on two decades of clinical experience and the use of Chinese medicine theory, combined with modern medicine to the atherosclerotic disease awareness, first made in China. This paper perspective on hemo-vascular-pathy from the vascular of the intension and extension of the disease were discussed in detail and proposed the relationship between the blood and meridian, further enriching the hemo-vascular-pathy theory.
