Purpose:To observe the clinical efficiacy of Baihe Gujin Tang in treatment of MDR-TB.Material and method:Divide 60 patients within criteria randomly into treatment group and compare group, 30 patients each. Treatment group use standard western medicine therapy combined with Baihe Gujin Tang, while compare group use standard western medicine therapy only. Both treatments last for 3 months. Overall efficacies are observed differently, together with different indicators and TCM syndromes, in order to observe therapeutic efficacy and adverse drug reactions.Results:1. The overall efficacy of treatment group (with Baihe Gujin Tang) is better than the compare group. (P <0. 05). 2. Treatment group with Baihe Gujin Tang proved better clinical efficacy than compare group with only standard theray, due to higher indicators, better improvement of TCM syndromes. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). 3. Both adverse reactions were slight.Conclusion:Baihe Gujin Tang in treatment of MDR-TB is effective, worthy of clinical application.
