Objective: effective use of modern medical treatment, to explore for acute pancreatitis, efficacy and better, more suitable for the treatment of public medical institutions.Methods: In 2006 to 2012, I general surgery were treated 82 patients with acute edematous pancreatitis were randomly divided into two groups and the control group 41 patients in the observation group TCM-WM treatment, the control group treated with Western medicine alone . Symptoms were measured before and after treatment, signs, physical and chemical changes in test results and imaging, and effects were observed.Results: The group of abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, bowel sounds and other clinical symptoms and signs, and urine amylase physical and chemical changes in test results and imaging was significantly higher than the control group. A relatively shorter duration, the patient's medical expenses reduced.Conclusion: Integrative treatment of acute pancreatitis better than Western medicine alone. More applicable to public medical institutions.
