Objective:Discussion on this issue proceeding from the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine to soothe the depressed liver as a basic principle in the treatment of children with Tourette Syndrome and TCM syndrome type based on the clinical characteristics and curative effect observation of treatment, evaluation of treatment effect, observing the feasibility and effectiveness of the treatment of the disease.Methods:Pathogenesis, treatment and other papers from children's point of discussion. Choice of 100 confirmed cases of Tourette-Tourette Syndrome:a clinical observation of children with as cases, all cases were from the China Academy of traditional Chinese medicine Guang an men Hospital Pediatric Clinic. According to different syndromes and treatment to soothe the depressed liver and syndrome differentiation for type 3:liver kangfeng by focusing on the town of liver for calming endogenous wind, liver and spleen deficiency kangzhe focuses on strengthening the spleen and replenishing Qi, pneumatic focusing on nourishing yin and Yang due to Yin deficiency of liver. Course for 12 weeks.1994 United States the diagnostic Statistical Manual of mental disorders Fourth Edition (DSM-Iv) TIC disorder diagnostic criteria, and in 1994 the Chinese disease diagnosis in clinical standards of Chinese medicine Pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine clinical standards included as diagnostic criteria of diagnosis of disease and syndrome cases. SPSS 17.0 by statistical software for data analysis, statistics and general information, and refer to the TCM symptom score table (see schedule) and scoring criteria for TIC symptoms of tongue and pulse rate before and after treatment, comparison using paired t-test and statistical treatment of total efficiency.Results:Application to soothe the depressed liver primarily, according to syndrome differentiation and treatment with principles of nourishing yin and invigorating the spleen in the treatment of tic disorders, observations showed Excellent 62 cases (62%), effective in 33 cases (33%), invalid 5 (5%), the total effective rate 95%, did not see any adverse reactions, more hints made significant clinical effects.Conclusion:both theory and research, or from on clinical observation, show mentor to soothe the depressed liver feasibility and effectiveness of the treatment of tic disorders, provides clinical dialectical treatment of the disease with a good idea.
