Objectives:Treat cervical imbalance syndrome with osteopathy and traction intervention in teenager patients, to find out X-ray features after treatment contrast with its situation formerly, demonstrates adolescent pathological feature in the cervical imbalances syndrome, provide some basis for reversible. Methods:Select two hundreds of 12-25y students with neck pain as the main symptoms in Beijing university of Chinese medicine, divide into osteopathy group and traction groups randomly, each of which include 100 people. Sign informed consent, use Fuji (X-ray machine, FCR5000), radiography conditions:plastic film distance is 150cm, pipe voltage 70kv, tube electric current 50mA.S. Collect X-ray materials before treatment. According to the X-ray performance, treat with them by clinicians with the medical director titles. The osteopathy group's treatment are 3 weeks, three times per week; Traction group by traction treatment three weeks, three times a week, too; After treatment with X-ray examine again, Borden method to measure the depth of the curvature before and after treatment, straightedge measurement spinous process position, measure shaky performance in function position (angular displacement vertebral slip and Ruth Jackson line change), before and after the treatment of X-ray performances and the statistical comparison between the two groups. Results:The osteopathy group:94 cases, before treatment, abnormal curvature in 57 cases (60.6%), spinous position change in 45 cases (47.9%) and angular displacement in 44 cases (46.8%); vertebral sliding in 15 cases (16%), Ruth Jackson line intersect proneness change in 70 cases (74.5%), stretch change in 47 patients (50%).After treatment, abnormal curvature in 35 patients (37.2%), spinous position change in 24 patients (25.5%) and angular displacement in 18 cases (19.1%); vertebral sliding in three patients (3.2%), Ruth Jackson line intersect proneness change in 41 cases (43.6%), extension change in 33 patients (35%);X-Ray performance efficient:abnormal curvature 38.6%, angular position change 51%; angular displacement 59.1%; vertebral sliding 80%, Ruth Jackson line intersections proneness change (proneness 41.4, extension 29.8%), statistical significance is significant before and after the treatment(P<0.01).The traction intervention group:93 cases, before treatment, abnormal curvature in 60 patients (64.5%), spinous position change in 39 cases (41.9%) and angular displacement in 39 cases (41.9%), vertebral sliding in 14 cases (15.1%), Ruth Jackson line intersect proneness change in 66 cases (71%), stretch in 39 cases (41.9 %)ï¼›After treatment, abnormal curvature in 50 cases (53.8%), spinous position change in 29 patients (31.2%) and angular displacement in 17 cases (18.3%); vertebral sliding in 4 cases (4.3%), Ruth Jackson line intersect proneness change in 40 cases (43%), stretch in 30 patients (32.3%);X-Ray performance efficient:abnormal curvature 16.7%, spinous position change 25.6%, angular displacement 56.4%; vertebral sliding 71.4%, Ruth slippage Jackson line intersect proneness change (proneness 39.4%, stretch 23.1%). Statistical significance is significant before and after the treatment (P< 0.01).Both osteopathy and traction interventionon are efficient in teenager neck pain, and osteopathy method is better than traction interventionon. Conclusions:(1) cervical vertebra problems in adolescent is very serious, incidence becomes higher, affect the adolescents'physical and mental health and family happiness seriously (2) children bad habits lead to cervical vertebra mechanics imbalances, pathological changes can be called teenagers cervical imbalance syndrome (3) Stress points, angular displacement, cervical vertebral body the slip, curvature straightened, spinous position change are main X-Ray performances (4) Both osteopathy and traction intervention on are efficient in teenager neck pain, statistical significance is significant after the treatment, and osteopathy method is better than traction interventionon. (5) adolescent cervical vertebra early imbalance syndrome is reversible performance.
