This paper consists of two parts which include the theoretical study and clinical study. The first part is the theoretical study. The first one summary is progress of modern medicine studies on hyperuricemia, including its epidemic,pathogenic-factor, morbidity factor, the relations of hyperuricemia and type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease. The second one summary the status of Chinese medicine on the hyperuricemia and type2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia. The other part is clinical research. Objective:Compare the differences of the syndrome between type 2 diabetes with hyperuricemia and the ones without diabetes, reveal the symptomatology characters of the two groups, settle a foundation standardization of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, discuss the relevance of the disease with blood uric acid and blood fat, observe if there is difference in BMI,age and course between the two groups. Methods; 121 hyperuricemia patients divided into two groups according to blood glucose. The syndrome Divided into 10 groups involves Qi deficiency syndrome, Blood deficiency syndrome,Yin deficiency syndrome,Yan deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, phlegm-dampness syndrome, qi stagnation syndrome, Heat twisting syndrome, Heat accumulation syndrome and damp-heat syndrome. This study collected the data about patients'general conditions, Chinese medical constitutional types and relative examination indicators. Then use SPSS13.0 to analyze the data.Comparison and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient analysis will be done with modern statistics methods. Results:Firstly, the results show that there is no apparent difference between the two groups on the age, gender and course of disease(P>0.05). Secondly, there is no significant difference between two groups on the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (P>0.05), there is significant difference between two groups on the BMI (P<0.05). Thirdly, there is no difference between the two groups on the hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease (P>0.05).The fourth, Two groups have differences in Yin deficiency syndrome. The last, The study also shows the result that the significantly positive relationship between the integrals of qi deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome, phlegm-dampness syndrome and TG level (P<0.05).There is noticeable negative relationship among the integrals of those three syndromes and HDL-Clevels (P<0.05). There is significantly positive relationship between the integrals of damp-heat syndrome and TC,TG level (P<0.05). There is noticeable positive relationship between Heat accumulation syndrome and I.DL-C level (P<0.05). There is no noticeable relationship among the integrals of other syndromes, and the different blood lipid indexes (P>0.05).Conclusion:Qi deficiency syndrome sputum and blood statis are the main syndrome features of hyperuricemia, Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome, sputum and blood statis are the main syndrome features of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hyperuricemia. Furthermore,There is positive relationship among Qi deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome,phlegm-dampness syndrome,damp-heat syndrome and triglyceride. There is positive relationship among damp-heat syndrome and high density lipoprotein cholesterol; There is negative relationship among Qi deficiency syndrome, blood stasis syndrome,phlegm-dampness syndrome and Low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol; There is positive relationship among Heat accumulation syndrome and low density lipoprotein cholesterol.
