| Objective:To make an objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the low temperature Chinese medicine ultrasonic atomization for treatmenting dry eye syndrome. Recently, with the popularity of computer and air conditioning, the incidence of dry eye increased year by year. The development of eye surgery also increased the incidence of dry eye, So we take more and more attention to the research and prevention of dry eye. Artificial tears is the conventional medicine for dry eye, the efficacy is certain. But most of the artificial tears contain antiseptic or addition agent, and the price is relatively expensive, long-term application is harmful to ocular surface, and make dry eye worse and worse. Artificial tears can only play the role in symptomatic treatment, which limits their clinical application. So,We use low temperature Chinese medicine ultrasonic atomization to treat dry eye.There are some reasons:On the one hand,Chinese medicine treatment can be treated for the cause, and reduce the side effects, ameliorate symptoms, shorten the course of treatment and has a wide prospect development.On the other hand, The treatment method of the low-temperature Chinese medicine ultrasound smoking eye compared with the traditional smoked eye method has such advantages as:①Mist particles produced by ultrasound has such features as small diameter (1-5μm), uniform size, extremely small Momentum and easy to walk with the flow.So the drugs can be fully and directly used to eye,resulting in improved efficiency and enhanced drug efficacy.②Less adverse effects on corneal.③The number of liquid particles of fog increases with increasing ultrasonic energy,so ultrasonic atomizer can control the mist.④Avoiding the troublesome and non-sustained drawbacks of traditional smoked eye method.⑤Ultrasonic spray also allows-the eye blood flow, clear the meridians and Play a therapeutic effect Quxie Daozhi.Methods:We adomp the mothord of contrast. The 55 patients with dry eye syndrome, who saw a doctor in the Dongzhimen hospital in the period of March 2010-March 2011,were divided into two groups, treatment group and control group,the treatment group was Chinese cold fog group,the control group was Sodium hyaluronate eye drops group. Contrast the two groups, write down TCM syndrome score, clinical subjective symptom scores, corneal staining (FL), tear breakup time (BUT), and Schirmer Determination,then observed.With SAS8.2,make a statistical analysis of indicators of each group before and after treatment, contrasted the efficacy of the two groups. The clinical evaluation of different groups:analyze two independent samples T test; The clinical evaluation of the same group:analyze Paired samples T test,if P<0.05, it was statistically significant,and there were evident differences. Results:Between two grours,there was no evident difference in gender, age(P> 0.05).After the treatment, Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine symptom total score of two groups, P=0.0038<0.05, there were evident differences, it showed that both of treatment group and control group were valid for improving the overall symptoms of TCM,treatment group was more effective than the control group. The former was more effective than the latter for improving the white eye redness, eye dryness, foreign body sensation, eye fatigue symptoms. For improving Western medicine of dry eye symptoms and BUT, SIt, FL levels, both were valid,and Treatment group was more effective than the control group for improving Western medicine of dry eye symptoms and BUT. For improving FL levels,p=0.0585, very close to 0.05, if make the sample larger,effect may be evident differences, the low temperature Chinese medicine ultrasonic atomization on the efficacy of FL may be better than sodium hyaluronate eye drops.Conclusion:The low temperature Chinese medicine ultrasonic atomization was feasible and effective for eye treatment. |
