Xingpi Ulcer Treatment Spleen Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Studies

Objective:to evaluate the clinic efficacy and safety for the XingPiHuaKui soup in the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis of dampness-heat due to spleen deficiency.Methods:select 60 patients with the Ulcerative Colitis of dampness-heat due to spleen deficiency, and randomly divide into two groups. The treatment group of 30 patients adopts XingPiHuaKui soup, and the control group of 30 patients adopts Salazopyrin.30 days for a course, and last for 2 courses. Observe the clinical symptoms and the change of mucous membrane, ESR, IgG, IgA and IgM, and observe the toxic or side effect or any adverse reaction and evaluate its security. After 6 months, observe the relapse.Results:The total effective rates in treatment and control groups were 90.0 % and 76.7% respectively. By analysis of statistics, there is significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05), there is significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05), the treatment group is better than control group.Clinical manifestation:By analysis of statistics, in relieving diarrhea, abdominal distension and body burnout symptoms (P<0.01), the treatment group is better than control group(P< 0.05). And in stool with blood and pus and abdominal pain, there is no significant difference in the two groups. (P< 0.05).Pathology aspects:By analysis of statistics, the two groups were obvious better after treatment (P< 0.05 or P< 0.01). The manifestation of mucosa in both groups is obviously. Compare the efficacy of treatment, there was different statistic significance. In debaucjed of mucosa and ulcer, the treatment group is better than control group (P< 0.05). In improving the mucosa edema and congestion, the two groups showed similar efficacy in the treatment (P> 0.05). The XingPiHuaKui soup can surely alleviate colon ulcer, debaucjed and mucosa edema and congestion. And it is markedly relieved the colon mucosa of patients.Adverse reactions:In Gastrointestinal Reaction, rashes, liver and kidney functions abnormality, leukopenia, peptic ulcer and other bad, the treatment group of XingPiHuaKui soup is better than the control group. And it has seldom poisonous effect.Conclusion:The effect of XingPiHuaKui soup in the treatment of syndrome of dampness heat due to spleen deficiency is accurate. The treatment group improved the clinical manifestation, pathology aspects. The XingPiHuaKui soup is better than SASP and signs without toxic or side effect or any adverse reaction. It is an optimal drug for treating of UC syndrome of dampness heat due to spleen deficiency.
