Professor Wang Ziyu Treatment Of Endometriosis Of The Data Mining Analysis

Objective:Analyzing the endometriosis medical records of Professor Wang Ziyu, a famous gynaecologist of TCM, with Data mining (DM) technique to learn and develop his experience and knowledge on the endometriosis disease,and meanwhile, supporting a new Chinese medicine foundation for clinicians to guide the clinical work better。Methods:147 endometriosis medical records are collected and parsed when working with Professor Wang, And then, the medical records are inputed into two special medical case databases (CPDBS and CPIAS)。All collected medical records are analyzed with the analysis platform of DM to mine the experience of Professor Wang on the clinical understanding of the endometriosis disease, especially his points on etiology, pathogensis, legislation and his experience on prescription (property of herbs,flavor of herbs and meridian distribution)。The analysis platform of DM is established by Professor Ren Tingge and her team which comes from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine。Results:According to the global analysis of the 147 medical records of the endometriosis disease, we find that:1) The main cause of endometriosis is stasis;2) The main pathogenesis is Real, including blocking cellular stasis, Qi stagnation, blood stasis such as Hanning; Secondly, Actual inclusion and Virtual, including stagnation of blood, blood stasis due to Qi deficiency, lack of blood, spleen and kidney deficiency, kidney sperm loss, etc...; The distribution of Symptoms result is the same as the pathogenesis's;3) The principle of treatment is blood circulation and Qipain, both as the spleen and supplementing Qi and nourishing blood, tonifying kidney;4) The main distribution of the property of medical herbs is warmnature; The distribution of the flavor of the herbs:bitter,sim,sweet; In terms of the meridian distribution:liver,spleen,heart and kidney; The most frequently used herbs are Angelica,Red peony,Salvia,Iwami wear,Curcuma and so on;5)The main action of TCM prescriptions:invigorating the blood,dispersing the stasis,regulating the flow of vital energy,regulating menstruation,disappearing accumulates,relieving congestion;6) The legislation is mainly to the blood circulation,the Qi and blood,the spleen and kidney。 Conclusion:Through the use of technology of DM (CPDBS & CPIAS), we can analyze the medical records from many sides and different aspects and conduct more objective conclusions, which are significant in the clinical work。Meanwhile, it is proved that the technology of DM have a highly practical value in the work of inheriting and developing the academic experience of Professor Wang Ziyu。Based on the analysis of medical records of Ems disease, we can obtain experience from many gynaecologists of TCM, including the disease location, etiology,pathogensis,distribution of syndrome,herbs selection and other aspects. They can be used in the clinical work in the future.
