Since the 90's of 20th century, the development of the world economy is rapid. Accordingly, the proportion of services industry economic added-value and employment in each nation is becoming gradually larger. Particularly, the producer services which the intensive use of information technology has become the most dynamic and fastest-growing sector in services industry in many developed countries. The degree of development of producer services, has become one of the important criteria which measure the extent of a country's prosperity or the extent of a city's prosperity. Shanghai is endeavoring to become international economy, finance, trade and shipping center, the realize of development strategy position needs industry carriers, and producer services are the ones Shanghai needs urgently to develop so as to implement industrial development policy of "three, two, one" and build"a leader, four centers". At present, the service industry of Shanghai also faces a lot of problem, such as: small scale, low-level and low openness. there are still not meet the requirements of the urban economic development and the industrial upgrading. So, accelerate the producer services industries vigorously has important practical significance to upgrade Shanghai's industrial structure, restructure the services structure, improve service's functions and competitiveness, changes the mathod of economic development.This paper includes five parts. Chapter One: chiefly introduces the research background and the meaning of selected topic, research thought and the frame, and so on. Chapter Two: theoretical retrospection on producer services. The thesis carries through relatively fully and systematically sum up of the definition, classification of producer services, in order to fully recognize producer services. Chapter three: first, introduce the development of Shanghai Producer Services, then, applied dynamic input-output method to analyze producer services in Shanghai in recent years. Chapter four: Based on input-output table, analyze the industrial interrelation of producer services in shanghai from some aspects. Chapter five: Summarized the research of previous chapters, then the paper puts forwards some proposal for promoting the producer services in shanghai.
