Supply Chain Information Systems To Coordinate Research In Grid Environment

In the globalization era of the Internet economy, Internet play a crucial role in the exchanges and cooperation between enterprises, and the traditional supply chain management thinking is also slowly moving to a modern Internet-based, information-based supply chain management, supply chain collaboration has become the new supply chain management strategy.In the 20th century, early 90s, to addressing the Internet's this situation which hosts a substantial increase but utilization is not high, NFS constructed four super computing center to a meta computer, Grid idea was born. Grid idea is to integrate all the computers on the Internet into a giant super-computer, to achieve data resources, computing resources, storage resources, information resources, knowledge resource sharing. Internet has played an important role in the coordinating of supply chain, as its developed product-Grid will also play an irreplaceable important role in the supply chain coordination. According to Gartner's analysis of the results, Grid computing's main purpose for profit-making enterprises is to handle compute-intensive workloads, such as complex business and financial analysis. Then, grid computing will support cross-organizational collaboration between enterprises. In the grid environment, how to develop the supply chain's IT environment, how to use the grid to promote the information supply chain coordination, how to build supply chain management information system, the issues has become the frontier of the research of the SCM.Coordinating supply chain information in the grid environment will study from the following aspects: First, the development of supply chain coordination and the Grid status and problems will be analyzed; Secondly, through analyzing the mechanism of supply chain coordination patterns and determinants, cost factors, environmental factors, the conclusion showed that the information coordination, information sharing is an important means of supply chain coordination. Third, discuss the benefits and building requirements from the application of grid technology in supply chain information system coordination; Fourth, building grid-based supply chain information system, discussing workflow management and security policy; Finally, the dissertation will carry on real example analysis, analyze a enterprise's logistics information system, put forward to the measures to solve the bullwhip effect, focusing on two aspects which is VMI and CPFR.
