Workflow Management System (WFMS) as a kind of rapid development and extensive application in industry, it will be able to achieve the main features of automating process, as well as coordinating between the various applications and people, in order to complete a particular task, can help people improve efficiency, reduce cost and optimize the process and to increase the management and so on. With the rise of Supply Chain Management (SCM), WFMS is gradually shifting from a traditional documental information management system to be a modern process management system, which is able to manage internal business processes and the business processes among the supply chain memebers with the purpose of sharing resources and informations among members. The impact, on the implementation of manufacture enterprise information system by this change is all-round and profound, therefore the study on the critical success factors (CSF) of implementation of WFMS is profound both in theoretical and practical aspects.From both theoretical and practical aspects, this study, through literature research, case studies, interviews and survey methods, identify the critical success factors of implementation of workflow management system: clear and precise motivation and objectives, correct attitude and a high degree of support and actively implementation to internal reformation, accurate cost estimates and adequate resources, full trust and cooperation between upstream and downstream firms in supply chain, paying attention to the process at grassroots level and true enterprise activities, the establishment of a scientific and reliable performace evaluation system. Then, the study conducts a certain amount of analysis and interpretation to the result. Finally, a methodology of the implementation of manufacture enterprise information system is introduced.
