China is a big textile country in the world. Textile industry is the important industry of national energy saving and emission reduction. Therefore the textile industry has its practical significance and necessity of energy saving and emission reduction in China. Since 2006, China's textile industrial energy saving and emission reduction has made certain progress in water consumption and energy consumption, but the question still remains a lot. In China's textile industry, due to the backward technology and equipment and low energy efficiency, in production large amounts of heat was discharged into the atmosphere. The heat loss not only wastes energy but cause environmental pollution also. Waste heat recovery is used to recycle the waste heat, improve energy efficiency, reduce production cost and protect the environment. Therefore, how to use the heat and reduce energy consumption as possible is an important task of energy consumption of textile industry.Shandong, Jin Mao Textile Co., Ltd has representative on production technology and production process in the same type of cotton textile factory. So this paper researched the energy saving reformation of waste heat recovery in cotton mill, Jin Mao Textile Co., Ltd., for example, in order to give reference to energy saving and emission reduction of textile industry.This project convey the hot exhaust from the Spinning workshop to the Pre-spinning workshop for heating through the post-reformation air duct during the winter on the basis of without changing the original production process. In the design, Change the commonly used methods, broke the space and. traditional air system between work-shop and process which has its each air system. Connection the whole Pre-spinning workshop and Spinning workshop air system together. After the heat convey into workshop, obviously improve the temperature of the Pre-spinning workshop low temperature season. This reformation fulfilled the waste heat recovery and utilization. And also create good economic and environmental benefits.
