With the development of economy and society, enterprises as a part of social systems, its impact on all sectors of society have been widely appreciated. Early both in theory or in practice, whether enterprises should take social responsibility had been a controversial topic. But now enterprises that take social responsibility can enjoy a good reputation and public image. And these have become an important part of their overall strength. Western companies are in an early start in taking social responsibility, and already have some practical experience and theoretical base, Chinese enterprises in this area are relatively in slow pace. In the economic situation of world economic integration, Chinese enterprises are bound to raise the awareness of corporate social responsibility, and to master the skill of enhancing competitiveness through taking social responsibility.Bases on summarizing and anglicizing the theory of corporate social responsibility and corporate competitiveness, this paper supposes corporate social responsibility and corporate competitiveness as a coherent whole and corporate social responsibility is an important component of competitiveness. The Responsible Competitiveness is just the combination of corporate social responsibility and business expertise. So this paper defines the competitiveness from combining corporate social responsibility and business expertise as Responsible-Competitiveness. Corporate Responsible-Competitiveness is to play enterprise's expertise in business, reasonable to assume social responsibility, under the action of interaction of internal and external factors, and finally to achieve the improvement of overall strength in this process. Raising the definition of Responsible–Competitiveness is to remind the companies to pay attention to the effects of the combination of corporate social responsibility and competitiveness in enhancing competitive advantage. This paper also analyzes the internal and external factors related to Responsible–Competitiveness, and creates a model of the formation of Responsible-Competitiveness under the interaction of internal and external factors. At length, through case studies of both domestic and overseas enterprises, this paper sums up historical experience and creates a guiding model of fostering Responsible-Competitiveness in the daily operations.
