There is more and more fierce competition in industry, scientific and canonical project management has become the important means to enhance the core competitiveness in construction enterprise. It has great sense for advancing enterprises management level to assess performance appraisal in an objective, fair, accurate way, and optimize personnel structure and raise staff salary level and disciple ability. Based on the project department in subsidiary companies of Guangxi Road and Bridge Engineering Corporation, this paper aimed at the various existing problems and combined the related theories in performance appraisal to build a develop-needed performance appraisal system which can raise the staff performance level exactly. In this way, staff promotion and enterprise efficiency were achieved.Theoretical research and empirical studies methods were adopted. This paper used research findings and practices home and abroad for references, consulted 360-degree performance appraisal method, key performance indicator method (KPI) and process management of project, and combined the existing performance appraisal methods in enterprise and project department. Questionnaire was used to find out the actuality and the staff's requirements, performance appraisal was analyzed by QC tool-fish-bone diagram and performance appraisal index system was confirmed. The author hopes to explore the optimum design of staff performance appraisal in specific form of project department of construction enterprises and provide a reference for the whole industry.
