Along with the development of real estate marketization, the civil resistance from proprietors continuously arise. In civil resistance against community affairs and governmental actions, government plays a vital role in results of civil resistance. In the literature, scholars pay more attention to the onset and process of the resistance, and less attention to the result of resistance from proprietors. Moreover, among many factors which influence the results, the research on the role of government internal polarization is still in its initial stage and along/adopting the common method of qualitative analysis. In the present research, the author specifizes government polarization into horizontal fissure and vertical fissure in terms of space, and divides the result of resistance into three aspects. After in-depth and systematic Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) of 23 civil resistance cases in key literature, the research finds that different types of government internal polarization have different effects upon the three dimentions of opposition results, and above all, the will of the government at a higher level usually determines the result. At the end of the thesis, the author further discusses the practical significance of such a phenomenon.
