| Currently,china's city commercial banks are experiencing a revolution of regional development. It's the requirement of the Regional economic development,inter-bank competition and the financial regulation,and also the city commercial banks' internal demand of expanding its scale to enhance the anti-risk ability.Firstly the paper describes the current status and pattern of city commercial banks' regional development,and from the angles of necessity and feasibility,indicates that regional development is a trend. Then with the introduction of related theories,points out that China's city commercial banks' regional development strategy should based on the host city,according to the growth pole's level and stage of development and self-development situation,rational planning their own regional development strategies. Then gives the recommendations of the regional development strategy:keep in touch with local economic development,keen to capture the pulse of the local economic development,and then expand the scope of their disposable financial resources.
