Along with dazzling development of national economy and widely spread ofregion unbalance strategy, Tianjin Binhai new area which has excellentcomprehensive qualification and favorable service function became the third growthpole of China regional economy. The farther exploitation and opening up of Binhainew area is rise to higher level as national policy now.Based on the regional uneven development theory, this paper analyzes theindustrial structure of Binhai new area. The article use similar coefficient andlocation quotient as index to analyze industrial structure resemblance and division oflabor condition between Binhai new area and the key areas of Bohai sea region. Asthe study results show, the industrial structure between Binhai new area and Hebei,Liaoning, Shandong three provinces are not so similar, oppositely industrial structureresemblance between Binhai new area and Beijing is much higher. The conditions ofdivision of labor between those regions also confirm the conclusion. In addition, theresearch also indicates that the third industrial structure of Binhai new area isdropped behind and became a weakness in industrial competition. Such industrialstructure brings competitive relationship between Tianjin and Beijing, it makesBinhai new area can not become the real mean growth pole which defined innational strategy, and embarrass the economic incorporate of Bohai sea area.At last, the article gives some reasonable suggestions to Binhai new area, for itsfuture development and build up economic radiate effect. Eventually it can makeregional economy development harmonious come true.
