This research adopt survey to probe into the problem that if there will be a significant effect on performance of employee of private enterprise in Hunan when there are differents in their individual career management (ICM) and organization career management (OCM). And we aslo explored the effect between population character and ICM, and the effect between organization character and OCM.After the collection of questionnaire, item analysis, factor analysis,reliability analysis,item-total analysis,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis and regression are applied to figure analysis,and the results are as follows:(1) There are two demensions of ICM: self-recognition and realizing opportunities in organization; three demensions of OCM: career guidance, performance management and career path, training and retirement; four dementsions of performance: task performance, contextual performance,learning performance and innovative performance.(2) The OCM of private enterprises in Hunan province have significant correlation with ICM, that is to say the better the OCM is,then the employee's ICM in this organization is more perfect.(3) The ICM of employee of Hunan private enterprise have significant correlation with the four demensions of their performance.(4) The three demensions of OCM of Hunan private enterprise significant correlate with the four demensions of performance.(5) Age,position,income and working year of employees of Hunan private enterprises have significace effect on ICM; Scale of a organization and stock have significace effect on OCM.
