| Since the reform and opening policy, the Chinese processing trade has gained rapid development and achieved a lot. It is becoming an indispensable main pillar for continuing and succeeding to the international industrial transfer, participating in international division of labor and developing the export-oriented economy. Meanwhile, as a fundamental method to awake the international trade for us, it plays an important role in Chinese economic development. However, we can't neglect those problems in the industrial structure of our country's processing trade - the proportion of labor-intensive industry in processing trade is still high. Even the processing trade in high and new technology industry is mainly in the links of labor-intensive manufacture and has no superiority in the links of research-and-development and marketing. Most of the processing trade enterprises have not mastered the core technologies or owned an independent brand. The strength of their technical research-and-development is weak relatively. All these problems along with the phenomenon of frequent International trade conflicts and over-consume resources has made the processing trade nowadays become a focal point.Through the theory and data analysis, this article starts with the current situation of the Chinese processing trade and expatiates the contributions towards our economic development made by the processing trade, and then point out the problems in the industrial structure of our country's processing trade. In this foundation, this thesis indicates the necessity of upgrading of the industrial structure and analyzes the environment inside and outside the country. Finally, it gives some detailed suggestions. We should adjust and optimize industrial structure by promoting the development of headquarters economy, simultaneously the government must give the support and the enterprises must hold the opportunity, to set up technological innovation enterprise, establishes and cultivates the independent brand. |
