Research On Risk Management Of Construction Projects Taking Sunvim Corporation Expansion Project As An Example

As the national economy in our country develops fast and the modernization program goes rapidly, the number of large construction projects enlarged greatly. All of these bring along the need of a rising investment and the prolongation of construction periods. There are more possibilities for a construction project to be out of control. So it seems more and more significant to take risk management in large construction projects.This paper focuses on the risk management and control in large construction projects. It discusses the comprehensive evaluation methods of risk in large construction projects, especially the risk identification, risk evaluation and the risk control and management.The paper first introduces the status and development direction of risk analysis, the research meaning, the research area and technical method. Then it raises the management theory, providing a theoretical basis for large project risk analysis and management. Specific measures aiming at the risk control are given. In the paper, the loss management of risk, the self remains of risk, the obviation of risk, the transfer of risk and the using of risk are emphasized.A practical case study is offered in the end. The risk of construction project in Sunvim Corporation is analyzed. Proper measures and methods of risk management have been offered to the project mangers.
