With the advent of economic globalization era,Chinese enterprises are facing more complex surroundings and intense competition.In addition,with the global economic downturn,how Chinese enterprises maintain their competitive priority in these difficulties? Competition among modern enterprises is the competition among people in the final analysis.As the saying goes,knowledge is power,as knowledge carrier of the people is natural to be the first enterprise resource.Human resources(HR) management is important indemnity in achieving goals of corporate strategy,and performance management is central to HR management.Traditional performance appraisal system only concentrates on staff performance appraisal itself,but performance management is a systematic process and one of the most effective tools for HR management.There are a lot of performance management theories and methods,but how can we find out the best combination with theory and practice by better use of performance management and business practice,will become the company's top priority.In this dissertation,the author firstly got a great deal of first-hand information investigation and his experience,and then designed a performance management system for HG company to meet the development of it based on its reality and performance management theory.The first step in this dissertation has made a conceptual discussion and literature review of performance management,afterwards,made an in-depth analysis to the status quo of the HG performance management.Since HG is a sales company in accordance with nature and characteristics.KPI(key performance indicators) was used to design a performance management appraisal system for HG. Then,the new designed performance management system was evaluated through implementation,the feasibility is verified,and suggestions about how to amend the inadequacies were discussed.This dissertation designed performance management system for HG Company by closely combination of its strategy and actual situation..At present,through the implementation of the new performance management system,most employees in HG are clearer with the company's developmental goals,its internal communication has been improved more than ever,many employees started to pay attention to their own career orientation and development.All of these have obviously improved the performance of HG staff.
