Empirical Research On The Level Of Information And Economic Growth

In order to study on the complicated relation between informationization and economic growth,this paper analyzes it from both qualitative and quantitative aspects. In qualitative analysis part,this paper states the meaning of informationization at first. This paper considers informationization as a systematic engineering with dynamic development.In this process,there are five main factors,including information resource,information infrastructure,informationized human resource,prevalence and application of information technology and development of information industry.The interaction process of the five main factors composes the full content of informationization.The full text can be divided into five chapters.The emphases of the study of each chapter are briefed as following:The first chapter is introduction.This part introduces the background of subject selection first,and then this part introduces current situation of related study at home and abroad and the framework,research methods and main innovation of this paper.The second chapter summarizes the theories of informationization and economic development,discusses the existed study on the effect of informationization on economic development and,this is the theoretical basis part of this paper.The third chapter is the evaluation of regional informationization level.This part summarizes measure of informationization level at home and abroad at first,and then establishes synthetical index system of regional informationization level with the situation of China based on comparison,selects 19 indexes which can reflect informationization status of each province.The 19 indexes reflect the informationization status of each province from five aspects,information resource (X1-X4),information infrastructure(X5-X9),informationized human resource (X10-X12),prevalence and application of information technology(X13-X16) and development of information industry(X17-X19).Then this study analyzes informationization levels of 31 domestic provinces with informationization comprehensive score model of factor analysis,calculates the comprehensive scores and ranks of each province,synthetically analyses regional informationization level; finally classifies the informationization level of each province with hierarchical cluster method and evaluates.The fourth chapter is empirical study on the relationship of informatization.This chapter adopts modified cobb-douglas production function to conduct regress analysis on the relationship of informatization and economic growth,find there is multiple collinearity between the indexes,so this study use ridge regression establishes regional economic growth regress model,achieves the regress results by using the comprehensive scores of each province calculated by informationization comprehensive score model of factor analysis in the second chapter and finally summarizes the conclusion of regress analysis and analyses.The fifth chapter provides countrywide informationization construction with policy suggestion,taking experience of informationization construction in to account, summarizes the contents above,arrives at the conclusion and puts forward the problem for further discussion.
