How to develop new products exactly and efficiently for target market, is one of the key factors for automotive components supplier access to success in nowadays competing automotive market nowadays.This paper uses Company M's new products developing concept selection as an example, stepwise analyzes and describes how to analyze market segment, how to make marketing strategy, how to deliver new products development concept, how to evaluate the economy of these concepts, how to rank these concept generally and how to select the final best solution. Besides, it also desribes how to monitor the execution of new products developing program management.Through the analysis and sumarize of Company M's new products developing selection strategy and evaluation methods, this paper concludes a simple, data based, systemlized new products developing selection strategy and evaluation methods, which can help to make rapid judgement of the value and risk of new products devleloping solution, and reduces the contrived disturb in the decision making phase to a level as low as possible.The selection strategy and evaluation methods used in the paper may have a brilliant future in application. They can not only be used for other program in Company M, but also as a good reference for other automotive component companies and middle&small sized manufacturing enterprises in such new products developing activities.
