UBI Logistics Limited is a logistics company which has been engaged in the operation of sea and air freight forwarding business for many years. Since its establishment in the year 1991, we have continuously summarized and absorbed advanced operation concepts to develop the core competition capability which is more suitable to UBI, devoting all our contributions to constructing UBI as a leading company in the field of Chinese Freight Forwarding Industry. The Chinese Freight Forwarding Industry has only developed a few years ago, but its developing speed is too fast, which results in shortcomings of small-scaled, unqualified skills and lack of competition capability for most of the Chinese freight forwarding companies. Facing with more and more frequent takeover and mergers of large-scaled overseas freight forwarding companies, trying to monopolize Chinese freight forwarding market, UBI Logistics is now trying to find a breakthrough for the development of Chinese Freight Forwarding Industry through the way of developing our own core competition capability - NAOCC (Non Aircraft Operation Common Carrier). In Chapter 1, it briefly introduces the current situation of International and Chinese Freight Forwarding Industry as well as the research significance and organization of this paper; and in Chapter 2, through a brief introduction of UBI Logistics company profile and NVOCC (Non Vessel Operation Common Carrier) in sea freight forwarding, it introduces a new concept of NAOCC to UBI logistics; while in Chapter 3, there is an analysis for internal and external environment for UBI and a detailed description of need and feasibility to introduce and execute the business model of NAOCC. All these three chapters have made good preparation of the detailed description of UBI' s core competition capability in latter part.In Chapter 4, it describes in details four different business modes of NAOCC in UBI Logistics, which is BSA (Block Space Agent), GSA (General Sales Agent), Charter and Bonded trucking network for cargo transfer. Through the comparison of advantages and disadvantages of these four business modes, it makes a conclusion of the strategic program to develop a core business mode, which is most suitable to UBI, that is to keep these four business modes existing mutually but focus on the exploration and development of bonded trucking network for cargo transfer. Finally, in Chapter 5, it makes an holistic description of UBI' s key strategic program and development outlook in the future, which is to become larger scaled, more professional, and with more network cooperation. This will help in the development of NAOCC core competition capability, so as to create a business operation mode more suitable to the development of UBI and even the whole freight forwarding industry, and hopefully will provide some insights and contribution to accelerating the reasonable development of the whole forwarding industry.
