Smic Inventory Management Strategy Study

In this study, we focus on the inventory situation of the semiconductor industrial. The company encounters many problems when inventory management and that cause the business inventory continue to increase, because of the industry bullwhip effect. We get the bullwhip effect factors and its weight to bullwhip by AHP. In order to solve the bullwhip effect, enterprises from the traditional forecast-driven supply chain become into a demand-driven supply chain, solve the inventory problem by e-commerce. We need to predict effectively before we use parts and control effectively in the production process, finally we use VMI to manage the inventory and select appropriate suppliers and partners, who are fitting to the level of logistics services by AHP. We improve the inventory management, reduce inventory costs, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises with the increase of the customer satisfaction.
