As to our country, raising the speed of taxation information construction by means of technology and management is an important task for our revenue departments to perform nowadays. In the process of promoting taxation information, every local revenue department, according to the general arrangements of State Administration of Taxation, has made a lot of considerable progress in terms of taxation information construction especially software and hardware, basic construction of it. Our country is attaching great importance to it and studying it by putting quite a lot of labor and money in it. In the new century, taxation information construction is entering the period of depth development. But problems exist in our work, such as repetitious construction, low rate of using facility, without unification in software, nonstandard operation, inaccurate information, which not only means many tax collectors don't have a deep understanding of taxation information construction, but also the lack of united leadership and long-term development of it and clear awareness of its meaning and target.In this paper, the author puts great emphasis on the careful discussion of the history and real situation of taxation information construction, and brings forward proposals of its development.
