Rural migrant workers are special group which formed in the transfering of rural surplus labor force. They are the laborer who work in cities and engage in non-agricultural industries in local or outside,but they still registered in the country.With the wage gap between urban and rural areas,a large number of farmers leave out from farming land and enter cities to seek new jobs,which results in the rough "farmers' frenzied hunt for work in cities". Because of a lot of surplus rural labor force, the transfering of rural labor force to urban areas within a certain period is sustained in stable trend in the future. The motivation of the rural workforce tends to diversity.A lot of rural migrant workers expect to seek jobs in cities.Employment information is the direct problem. Migrant workers are facing job information barriers.They have got jobs by friends and relatives ,the information channels are narrow.Their job information is form secondary labor market. It is difficult for them to enter the primary labor market, they are informal.Because of Information barriers, the cost of job-hunting increase dramatically.According to the analysis of the job searching theory, the quantity of job-seeking reduces , the searching benefits decrease sharply. So there is "shortage of migrant workers";Migrant workers is in the worse situation, there is gap in benefit and compensation between urban residents and migrant workers.Based on the job searching theory and information economics, the theory of investment in human capital, the paper explains the cause and tendency of rural migrant workers'job hunting,discusses the barriers of employment information to rural migrant workers in detail, emphasizes the influence of the barriers of job information to the rural migrant workers and analyses the specific reasons for the information barriers, Finally considers how to resolve the issue. The government should strengthen public functions, eliminate the barriers of the system , accelerate the formation of the market-oriented employment mechanism, develop and improve the labor market. Improving the investment in human capital of rural migrant workers is very necessary. Enterprises should strengthen the sense of social responsibility , use a variety of recruitment channels, raise wages, protect the rights of migrant workers.The innovation and achievement of the paper : Combining analysis of theoretical model and empirical research to make sense. Taking the theoretical framework of the job searching theory and some of its expansion as the theoretical background. At the same time, collecting a lot of the latest macro data for the empirical basis for analysis. Studying the barriers of job information to rural migrant workers deeply.
