Along with the transition of the world from the industrial economy to the knowledge economy, and the constant improvement of the national macroeconomic environment, the private enterprises, which are the important component of our socialist market economy, not only face a new round of the enormous opportunities for development, but also face the intensity of market competition. Talents have become the key to establish the competitive advantage, and grasp the opportunities for development. The high rate of brain drain has seriously restricted sustainable development of some companies, but the inferiority in human resources of the private enterprises is actually outstanding. How to effectively solve the problem of brain drain has become the historical topic which each enterprise has to solve.This paper analyzes the problem of the brain drain in the private enterprises from the aspects of management, psychology and economics. First, the paper elucidates the significance and the emphasis of the research, and summarizes the current situation and reverse effect of the brain drain in the private enterprises. And then, the paper makes an analysis of the causes of the brain drain from three different angles: the workers, the enterprises and the external environments. At last, it gives the management stratagems and suggestions for solving the problem of the brain drain of the private enterprises.
