The rapid development of economic globalization is the important features and ongoing treeds of the world economic development. It not only changes business survival and development environment, but also promotes the the internationalization of corporate operation. Faced with the development trend of economic globalization, domestic enterprises, large and small, have to expand their operation by choosing internationalization an important strategic change.The purpose of this study was to explore and develop the organizational change leadership model in the context of internationalization, to verify the relation between organizational change leadership and organizational performance. Meanwhile, we also discuss the moderating effect of change strategy on the relationship between organizational change leadership and performance. At last, the research implication for enterprise management in Chinese context was elaborated.The study was divided into three parts. In the first part, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 22 managers in 14 different enterprises which had international business activities. Based on the interviews, the study initially came up with the construct of organizational change leadership by content analysis.In the second part, the study conducted a case study on the relationship between organzatioanl change leadership and organizational performance. The Timeselectric group, which had experienced lots of organizational change during its international business process, was selected as a sample and four cases were analyzed.In the third part, the study explored the relationship between organizational change leadership and performance with the use of correlation analysis, multi-regression analysis, and structural equation model in 217 quafified samples. In addition, this part examined the moderating effect of change strategy on the relationship between organizational change leadership and performance. From the 'fit' perspective, we proposed that the chose of change strategy can base on the level of organizational change leadership.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Organizational change leadership is a construct with multiple dimensions, which includes 'vision driven', 'culture building', 'create breakthrough' and 'architecture innovation'.(2)Organizational change leadership had a significantly positive effect on organizational performance. The factor 'vision driven', 'culture buliding' and 'architecture innovation' had a significantly positive effect on organizational operating performance. The factor 'vision driven', 'create breakthrough' and 'architecture innovation' had a significantly positive effect on organizational international performance.(3)Organizational change strategy is a construct with multiple dimensions, which includes 'organizational learning', 'technogical innovation' and 'sharing network'.(4)Organizational change strategy had a significantly positive moderating effect on the relationship between organizational change leadership and organizational performance. The moderating effect of organizational learning strategy on the relationaship between organizational change leadership and organizational performance was significantly positive. The moderating effect of technogical innovation strategy on the relationaship between organizational change leadership and organizational performance was significantly positive. The moderating effect of sharing network strategy on the relationaship between organizational change leadership and organizational performance was marginal significantly positive.
