Tourism Industry Cluster Networks

The unique competitiveness of industrial cluster arouses the interest of tourism researchers; Meanwhile, the industrial cluster researchers have begun to concentrate on the combination of tourism and industrial cluster theory in order to exploit and deepen recognition of the industrial cluster. So a new study field-tourism cluster comes out. Based on the researches of the existing tourism clusters, we start the basic study of tourism cluster from the network angle .The major framework of this thesis is as following:Firstly, the thesis introduces the basic theories of tourism cluster network study: industrial cluster theory, industrial cluster network theory and tourism industy theory. It also summarizes and evaluates the involved documents of these three study fields.Secondly, the thesis analyses what the tourism cluster is. On the basis of documentary analysis, the thesis defines and classifies the tourism cluster and studies the characteristics of it.Thirdly, we have a study on what tourism cluster network is. In this part of study, the thesis shows that tourism cluster network is the essence of tourism cluster, then it analyses the connotation, operation and effection of tourism cluster network. This study absorbs traditional cluster theories, furthermore, it spotlights the characteristics of tourism industry, for example, we add tourist as well as community of the tourist destination to the traditional cluster network when we analyse the principle parts of tourism cluster network.Fourthly, the thesis analyses how to cultivate tourism cluster network and how to promote the development of tourism cluster. In order to reach the above object, the priciple parts should strengthen contact with each other, and they should improve the environment of cluster development etc.Lastly, we come to the conclusion and the prospect for further studies in this field. Through researches in this thesis, we want to make definitions in tourism industry cluster clearer so that to improve existing confusions . We expect to guide the development of touism industry cluster networks by researching in it, to form and develop tourism industry cluster by fostering its network, and hence to make tourism industry cluster networks perfect. By forming a fine circulation system, tourism clusters can maximise its effection, so that to innovate development of tourism industry, to strengthen the competitiveness of tourist destionations, to realize sustained development.
