Spatial Mismatch Hypothesis means that sub-urbanization of employment and the serious limitations on the residential choices of Afro-American households affected the spatial distribution of nonwhite employment and reduced nonwhite incomes. John F Kain from Harvard University has ignited the discussion on Spatial Mismatch by his creative article in 1968. Numerous economists has engaged in the study of this subject till the death of Kain in 2003, and they will further the research.Foreign works may draw some lights on the economic advance of developing countries, but the limitation is also obvious: the industry is advanced in developed countries and some of the manufacturing industry will transfer to developing countries; the market mechanism in developed countries is more perfect than that of the developing countries's, so are the other routines which cooperate with the market mechanism; foreign works focus on the economic problems in developed countries, but this paper put much attention on the economic problems in the developing countries. On the basis of these differences, this thesis has made related changes, including the subject and economic development routine, to meet the circumstance in the developing countries. On the conclusion of foreign references, this paper analyzed the Spatial Mismatch Hypothesis from a deeper standpoint and considered the related questions. The economic problems in developing countries are the priority in this paper.
