Enterprise Manufacturing Outsourcing Supplier Evaluation System

With the development of IT and economic globalization and specialization, more and more firms begin to be absorbed in the domain field that they are good at and the cooperation with other enterprises. Outsourcing as a strategy to use limited resource, to down cost and to upgrade the core competence, is attended by many corporations. As one of the characteristic of economic globalization, Outsourcing becomes not only one of the strategy means to improve the core competence by most enterprises in the western countries, but also penetrates into every levels of enterprises of China and the other developing countries.Aiming the question of how to choose a suitable outsourcing provider, this paper chooses the manufacturing outsourcing to do research, and defines the theme as the research of evaluation system about manufacturing outsourcing provider, meanwhile, a series of method that how to found the evaluation system will be given. So the research production will be meaningful on helping companies to solve the outsourcing provider evaluation problem.This research begins with the angle view of outsourcing, on the basis of overseas and domestic productions, with the manufacturing outsourcing as the main object, the paper emphasis on the outsourcing provider evaluation system in the manufacturing industry.Combined with both criterion and demonstration and determine on the nature and the quantity, the study can be divided into two parts. The first part is to confirm the indexes by determining the nature. According to lot of literature, the author designs an investigation questionnaire with four blocks and thirty two terms. Applying the questionnaire to the company with manufacturing outsourcing operation, according to the analysis of using the method of Factor Analysis to the result, the indexes and the dimensionality of the manufacturing outsoureing provider evaluation could be confirmed. The second part is to evaluate the weight by determining the quantity and arrange the ranking of the weight by the importance. Applying the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method, the evaluation index system in the first part is weighed and arranged the order by the magnitude. At last, the paper comes to the conclusion and makes the research prospect in the future.
