| In this paper, the author analyzes the contest in North-East region using the framework of"common security". The first part is the definition and connotation to the"common security". Then the paper analyzes the"prisoners'dilemma"in countries'energy security between China and Japan. The author believes that only by seeking the common interests in this region can the concerned states realizing"cooperative game"from the trap of"competitive game". In the angle of regional energy security, this region enjoys the exceptional advantage in energy cooperation. China and Japan face almost the same energy security problems, and Russia is one of the biggest petroleum suppliers in the world. So, the setup of North-East regional energy cooperation mechanism can meets all the countries'needs. |
