Health-care food not only has the general characters of food, but also has the function for health-care, so it can meet the customers' needs in the 21st century. It originates from China's nutritional therapy, and it is also acknowledged all over the world. In recent years, by obliging the companies to use the GMP management, and most of these companies having passed the ISO 9001 quality certification, the product and the quality management level of the health-care food has been improved a lot. However, in generally speaking, we has been dropped behind a lot by the developed countries, such as American, Japan.In our country, the main problems in this industry are the anomaly management, poor quality, and illusive advertisements. In order to regulate the quality and safety management of the health-care food, improve the brand image and reputation, enhance consumer trust and the competition in the international market, finding out a mode for the quality and safety management of the health-care food, which is systematic, scientific, economic and acknowledged all over the world, is very necessary. The standard, "Food safety management systems-Requirements for any organization in the food chain"(ISO22000: 2005) issued by International Organization for Standardization in September 2005 provides the criterion for the China's food safety management to come up with the international level.ISO22000: 2005, "Food safety management systems-Requirements for any organization in the food chain", merges with " hazard analysis and critical control point " (HACCP) system and the international Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC). A necessary prerequisite program (including "Good manufacturing Practice (GMP)" and "Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure" (SSOP)) is the basis for the implementation of this standard and brings forward the basic request for the food safety management system used in the food companies. In the recent condition of our country, most of the health-care companies have passed the GMP management and the ISO9001 quality certification, and they have the ability to practise "hazard analysis and critical control point "(HACCP) system .
