| In the rapid development of economy of our country, under the trend of the RMB has been favored by neighboring countries, especially under the influence of Yunnan Province has long experience with border trade settlement, the proposal about building regional cross-border RMB financial services centre has been mentioned many times, and on July 27,2010, the institution of Kunming regional cross-border RMB financial services centre officially established. Kunming regional cross-border RMB financial services centre can positioning for Yunnan financial and commercial compounds. The institution will become cross-border settlement center for southwest open RMB , RMB cross-border financing center, RMB cross-border direct investment center, RMB cross-border financial product innovation center, RMB cross-border capital flows monitoring center, financial control center, financial talents gathered center, financial information center, financial service outsourcing center. Although agencies currently has been established, but will it completely construction and perfect still need a long time. Zhang Zulin who is the mayor of Kunming has said that we plan to use 10-15 years to construct gradually Kunming into cross-border RMB financial services centre. Meanwhile, in the construction we should focus on the strengths, weaknesses internal, and opportunities, challenges out external. By analyzing the problems existing in the construction process, it is concluded the countermeasures to further promote cross-border RMB financial services centre of the building.This paper uses the method of SWOT to display the current strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges when we construct Kunming regional cross-border RMB financial services centre. Then for these internal weaknesses and external challenges we profoundly analysis and is convenient to kunming strengthening construction and perfect and make better for the construction of the regional cross-border RMB financial services centre and service, better for the economy and for national construction service. Chapter 1 introduces the background and significance of construction Kunming regional cross-border RMB financial services centre and domestic and foreign literature research for financial center.Chapter 2 presents the related theories -- urban construction theory, regional monetary cooperation theory and financial center development theory. The three theories are effectively combined will be of the theoretical basis of support in this paper.Chapter 3 introduces the internal advantage which exists in the Kunming construction regional cross-border RMB financial services. For some ports in this part we did the practical research.Chapter 4 introduces the existing internal weaknesses in Kunming. Mainly compared with other provinces's capital cities Kunming exists some shortages in economic, financial and education. This part choses Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanning, Guiyang to compare with Kunming by principal component analysis method which makes urban rankings. These cities are both belonging to the western regions of China and their trades linking with southeast Asian countries more closely.Chapter 5 basically introduces external opportunities. This section is expounded the construction of regional cross-border RMB financial services centre opportunities from policy and actual trade overseas.Chapter 6 introduces that Kunming challenges from domestic and abroad . Into domestic part mainly other urban construction financial center is built out of economic developed conditions, but Kunming mainly due to the geographical position . So other cities built on the economic situation forms challenge for Kunming. A foreign part challenge mainly is adjacent national economic development level of imbalance, this part caused by empirical analysis data.Chapter 7 is a summarized part. It expounds the specific task to solve the existing disadvantages and challenges and puts forward a series of countermeasures. |
