Path Analysis Of Lanzhou’s Construction Of Northwest Regional Financial Center

The construction of regional financial center plays a very importantrole in the economic development of a region. Developed finance cansupport the development of regional economy, and the development ofregional economy can create large enough space at the same time, whichcan make continuous expansion for financial industries. Theestablishment of regional financial center can make all kinds ofproduction factors and a large number of financial capital together, topromote the continuously development of economy and finance.This paper uses knowledge related to regional economics andfinance, adopts methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and normative research and empirical analysis, makes empirical analysisof the competitiveness between Lanzhou and other cities through theestablishment of competitiveness index evaluation system for regionalfinancial center, tries to find out the advantages and disadvantages ofconstruction of regional financial center in the northwest of Lanzhoubased on SWOT analysis, and puts forward the mode selection andspecific measures for the construction of regional financial center inLanzhou.Based on the systematic combing of literatures at home and abroad,this paper elaborates the formation theory and conditions of regionalfinancial center and establishes the competitiveness evaluation index system of regional financial center by analyzing the evaluation methodsof the competitiveness of regional financial center and combining withthe actual situation of Lanzhou. The competitiveness evaluation index isdivided into three parts in this paper: financial development level,economic development level and urban development condition, andvarious indexes are selected for detailed evaluation of each aspectrespectively. Then,15cities, including Lanzhou, are selected as theresearch objects and then the factor analysis method is adopted tocompare the competitiveness of the15cities. Finally, according to theresults of empirical analysis, this paper confirms that Lanzhou shouldpositioned as the gather and radiation center of regional financialresources in the construction of northwest regional financial center andshould adopt the government-driven development model, continuouslyperfect the financial market system, optimize the financial ecologicalenvironment and strengthen the talents introduction and cultivation, so asto continuously improve its competitiveness.
