As China's economic and social development, the differences in economic society become more and more obvious in western and eastern china, which also excites in urban and cities. Then, because its instability still excites in natural and social economic environment, the majority of farmers are facing new risks and challenges. This paper mainly study on the area upper Minjiang River after its earthquake. This article uses these skills as comprehensive reference framework for sustainable living standards, vulnerability analysis framework to analysis the vulnerability among farmers in Aba areas. So it can improve the living standards of farmers and to give references on policy making. Then, it can narrow the differences among turbans and cities. Last, it also can improve the social security system in rural areas and maintaining stability and harmony in society, which are important theoretical and practical reference.Minjiang River area is a multi-ethnic area. It is an important governance area in "National Ecological Environment Construction Plan". Since 2008, "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake happened, the region's natural environment devastated seriously, thus it put the farmers which are rely heavily on the natural environment into a dilemma.The theory of living vulnerability provides a new perspective for the destruction of natural environment and the farmers in a vulnerable position. This paper first reviews the vulnerability of the research progress in related fields. So it can identify the main ideas and content. Then it analyzes the vulnerability of farmers living life in Tibetan. It also builds a household living system to evaluate its vulnerability so that it can determine the degree of vulnerability in this area. It also reveals the reason why the vulnerability of farmers'living standards is low. So we can except to give recommendations on strategize in improving and to maintain its development.This paper consists of five chapters. Its third and fourth part is the most important two parts of this thesis. The first chapter introduces the research background, significance and research status at home and abroad. The second chapter briefly introduces relevant theories and research methods. The third chapter focuses on analysis the farmers living situation and to build a reaction index system. So it can use a comprehensive index to reflect the living standards of farmers in this area. The fourth chapter is the thoughts on vulnerability of farmers and analysis its incentives. The fifth chapter is give suggestions on the strategies and prospects, which based on the previous analysis.The main conclusion of this paper is that the farmers living in the GaBao village in Lin area are under extremely fragile conditions and their incomes are not stable. They heavily depend on the subsidies from the government. The damage of the earthquake is serious so that the rebuilding task is difficult. The burden of the medical education is still heavy, and the farmers are struggling to make ends meet requirements. On this basis, this paper calls for promote of labor ability construction in rural area actively, and it also calls for promote the development of non-agricultural industries. It should improve the social security system in Tibetan. Then it can improve the farmer's subsistence condition and to promote the development of social and economy harmoniously in poor areas.
