It has been more than 30 years since China adopted the"open door"policy, with China emerging as a manufacturing superpower. To coincide with China's economic development, competition has been extended from commodity market to the labor & talent market. Currently the labor and talent markets in some places have been experiencing a manpower structural shortage although China is the most populous country in the world and such a shortage will surely hinder the business development of some companies.Such a phenomenon pushes the business managers to think of the human resources development from a perspective of competition strategy and strategic human resources management. This dissertation was written based on the study on proposing to establish a"Strategy-Supportive Training System"at BTI Company and demonstrated the imperative to establish the"Strategy-Supportive Training System"by citing the theories of"Competition Strategy","Strategic Human Resource Management","Core Competence","Soft Power", etc.In the"Strategy-Supportive Training System"designed for BTI Company– a Pre-Engineered Metal Building designer and manufacturer, not only its existing job skill training mechanism has been perfected, but also proposed to establish"an Internal Trainer Team","a Technical Talent Pool"and"Managerial Talent Development System", making them the four pillars of the"Strategy-Supportive Training System". Also, the cultural elements of BSL, the parent company of BTI, have been adopted to be culturally and strategically aligned in designing the"Strategy-Supportive Training System"for BTI. With such a"Strategy-Supportive Training System"in place, the BTI Company's core competence will be further enhanced and its business strategy will be secured in terms of human resource. So such a"Strategy-Supportive Training System"can also be used for reference by other companies in the same industry.
