With the rapid development of free trade in recent years, more and more concerns are given to rules of origin in the area of international trade. Rules of origin issue is not only a more complicated technical issue, but also can be used as a special and hidden trade protection measures. Rules of origin are regarded as trade barriers, non-tariff barriers in specific by some Western economists. The international non-tariff barriers prevalent in the case of general decline in the current tariffs and the diminishing of the role of tariff barriers. As technical barriers, trade quotas and other non-tariff barriers, rules of origin have become a tool to protect the producers of States to increase their interest and to increase their market share of products in the international foreign trade market. Meanwhile, rules of origin have become the "weapons" for circumvention and anti-circumvention of the importing countries'trade management measures. Therefore, rules of origin on the free trade area are considered as a far-reaching research. Although rule of origin on the Free Trade Area gain an increasing public concerns, there is still lack of the analysis of applicability. Acording to the current construction of China free trade zone status, this article describes the origin of the FTA policy on the role of China's export trade, using the latest data analysis and comparison of the Free Trade Agreement rules of origin. Also, find out the gap between NAFTA and ACFTA by comparison of these two FTA rules of origin. Finally, this article gives some reasonable suggestions for improvement on the development and implementation of the FTA rules of origin, on the basis of more operational and more detailed rules of origin, improving the standards of origin of the processing trade industry and high-tech industry and Intensifying propaganda to increase the effective use of rules of origin for Import and export enterprises to promote the economic development of international trade.
