Hospital medical equipment is the basis for diagnosis and research, an important factor to improve health care quality and efficiency, and an important indicator to measure the level of modernization. Meanwhile, medical equipment bidding purchasing can introduce market competition mechanism to regulate the activities of medical institutions purchasing, to reduce medical costs, giving benefits to the people, and can reduce the loss of national revenue and promote the development of pharmaceutical enterprises. It is a great significance to the development of the pharmaceutical industry. This paper apply mechanism design theory and methods to study the optimal bidding mechanism of multi-dimensional attributes, such as procurement of quality verified medical equipment and procurement of large medical equipment, by using market-oriented reform of China's health care system as a background. The paper is divided into five chapters, which is both relatively independent and a complete whole. The paper introduced the background and significance of this study, then reviewed the existing literature and outlined the main contents of this article. It outlined the auction theory, such as the traditional auction theory and multi-dimensional attributes auction theory. The paper studied the multi-dimensional attributes bidding mechanism of medical equipment procurement. The quality of the medical equipment can be verified. It studied the multi-dimensional attribute bidding mechanism design of large medical equipment procurement with a warranty period. Finally, the chapter with an application example proved that the two-stage auction is indeed able to implement the allocation and payment results of the optimal mechanism. The chapter also given a summary and conclusion to the full text, and prospect to the future research work.
