| Performance management is the most important and debatable part of human resource management. It is also an effective means of business management. How to design and establish a set of scientific performance management system which is suitable for Chinese actual conditions and adaptable to requirements for enterprise strategy development, is a totally significant and new problem.Starting from the basic theories of performance management, the author designs a new performance management system, which is based on a detailed analysis of various annoyances in the performance management and raise solutions accordingly for PPW company.The essay is comprised of six parts. First, introduction part. It describes the scientific meaning of the topic selected and the research methods. Second, it summarizes basic concepts and theories of performance management, which is selected according to the actual situation of research object. Third, it introduces some basic information of PPW company, including general information of the company as well as its human resource management especially performance management. The fourth part is one of the most important parts. It tells the main problems faced by PPW company in its performance management, and analysis the profound reasons. In the author's opinion, high family atmosphere is the essential reason of those problems. Meanwhile, another probable reason is leaders' deficient perception on the concept, methodology and technology of modern performance management. If leaders get a comprehensive and exact perspective on such knowledge, they could adopt more effective actions, so that the negative impacts to performance management even to the whole enterprise management that is induced by family style management system, could be controlled in a proper level. The fifth part is another important chapter. It deeply analysis the general strategies and detail measures on how to solve the problems that PPW faced. The last part then goes to the research conclusions of the reference value for other Chinese private small and medium-sized enterprises, especially for the family companies. |
