The Transformation Of Agriculture In China Based On The Perspective Of Low-carbon Economy

Climate summit in Copenhagen in 2009 started the prelude of low carbon economy development. With the global climate change and the frequent occurrence climate disasters, people began to reflect on the current economic mode and their own behavior. Under the background of high growth of carbon-emissions and unsustainable fossil energy, low-carbon economy emerged. Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, which is the source of raw materials of other industries, and plays an important role in keeping social stability and improving peoples living standard. Low carbon agriculture is a form embodying the low carbon economy; is the development of new agriculture mode which is adaptable to handle climate changes and ease the pressure of resource and energy usage. Therefore, it is the imperative to implement the sustainable development of agriculture and low carbon agriculture.Chinas agriculture is in the transition period to modern agriculture. Agriculture, countryside and farmers have been the core problem concerned by government, which can not only reduce the international pressure of carbon emissions, but also can ensure sustainable development. Agricultural transformation, need us to follow the low carbon agricultural path with low consumption of resources, high-tech and sustainable development according to its actual domestic and foreign conditions.This paper is divided into the following four parts to discuss the transformation problem of our countries'agricultural based on the perspective of low carbon economy. The first chapter is the introduction section, including the background and significance of the research; the domestic and abroad related theory and research status; second chapter is focusing on the dilemma of our countries'agriculture development and the necessity of developing low carbon agriculture in China. Meanwhile, the paper points that current agricultural development faces some problems like environmental degradation, low efficiency of technology innovation promotion and the malpractice of prompting oil-oriented agriculture development; the third chapter is focusing on the research of present situation of low carbon agricultural development in China; put forward the problems in the process of low carbon agricultural development in terms of technology, investment, mechanism; The fourth chapter aiming at the emerging problems of low carbon agricultural development, puts forward effective measures and approaches to develop low carbon agriculture discusses a few aspects of the measures such as technology, development model, leading mechanism to provide effective support for successful complement of the reform and the good development of low carbon agriculture.
