Expressway Company Performance Evaluation

The level of expressway is one of the symbols that reflect economic development and modernization degree of the country. Current operation of the expressway can only be confirmed through the evaluation of the company's performance. While establish a rational and effective performance evaluation system can enhance the management of expressway and promote the highways'development healthily. Therefore, it has become urgent that establishing a effective performance evaluation system, enabling it to reflect not only the special nature of Expressway Company and the Company's strategic objectives, but also the company's long-term competitiveness,In this research the author analyzed the characteristics of highway industry, combined with the principles and method of setting up performance evaluation system, applying of the Balanced Scorecard and Analytic Hierarchy Process, building the hierarchy model to evaluate the overall performance of highway company, which contains financial, customer, internal processes, learning & growth, and security. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was used to evaluating the hierarchy model Comprehensive, and then the research findings used in Modern Investment Company performance evaluation.Modern Investment Co., Ltd. listed in Shenzhen in 1999, who is the only listed company of transport system in Hunan Province, the main business is Highway Maintenance and Operating charges. In recent years, when the main business developed healthily, the company was also actively carry out industrial restructuring, efforts to expand other business, and constantly develop new profit growth point. In this paper, the author used the hierarchy model to evaluate the performance of the Modern Investment Company, confirmed that the company is in the excellent level of the industry, and there is still much room for development. For investors it is good news.This research has some theoretical and practical value for the performance evaluation of expressway company.
